I got power back Monday. Still no home internet, using phone at the moment for internet. Hurricane ripped up all 9 full grown mango trees in my yard. It's been pretty crappy but honestly seeing what others have gone through, I got off easy.

I hope any of you guys that got affected by the hurricane didn't get it too bad.

@coffeeowl I've been meaning to ask you, what do you think of The Vietnam War so far? Even though I was interested I thought getting through it was going to be a slog because of the topic, and I think the whole documentary will end up being like 18 hours long. But it's so interesting and absorbing I tell myself I'll watch some of the episode before going to sleep and then end up watching the entire episode and waiting for the next ones.

@coffeeowl I've been meaning to ask you, what do you think of The Vietnam War so far? Even though I was interested I thought getting through it was going to be a slog because of the topic, and I think the whole documentary will end up being like 18 hours long. But it's so interesting and absorbing I tell myself I'll watch some of the episode before going to sleep and then end up watching the entire episode and waiting for the next ones.

It is amazing and painful to watch at the same time as I knew it would be! Ken Burns is a master storyteller even when you think you know the story ahead of time.

Well, I'm glad that you've at least got power back and there wasn't any significant damage. It still sucks though. We finally got ours back Sunday night, so I get it. :spaz: But I'm with you, we were so lucky. Had our gate ripped from the hinges and our fence fell in a few places. No power for a week. But man, it could be so much worse. And we are still under a flood advisory...people are still losing their homes. I'm counting my lucky stars.

Now it's time to catch up on the time we missed!
