I don't live in the North End, but Sunday is totally spaghetti day in our house.
I grew up eating spaghetti twice a week, it was my moms go to meal to cook. I always swore up and down that I was a good percentage Italian. I did a 23andme DNA thing, turns out Im like 0.6% Italian :hilarious:

When I lived at Harvard Square, I used to feed about 50 people every Saturday. I would cook about 4 boxes of spaghetti x 3, 5 gallons of sauce, and 10 loaves of garlic bread. I cost about $30 to feed the neighbourhood. We used to offer food to anyone walking by, people in the commons, cops, just everyone! Jerami's Spaghetti Feed! We did it 3 times a month. We'd hang a few flyers and shit. I met all kinds of awesome people.:D

I'm halfway done folding this mountain of laundry.

I'm also taking the kiddo to a farm today to build a scarecrow.
Can you come fold mine too? :D I hate putting away clothes! My fiance jokes that I have "Clothes Mountain" bc my clothes just sit in the basket and pile up.

That sounds fun! I wish I had something cool like that near me!

LMAO! Oh no! I am huge into our family ancestry and know I'm at least 25% Italian. I would say the there's another 25% in there, but my Great Grandfather was adopted in Italy, so I guess you can't really be sure. I've wanted to do 23andMe, but I actually want my brother to do it. It's apparently much more useful when a male does it.

I feel a bit gluttonous because we definitely make 4 boxes to feed 10 people when the whole family is here (granted, we like our leftovers, but it's only like a day's worth of leftovers in this house).

Folding and putting away laundry is my LEAST favorite chore. I'd rather clean the toilets or sweep. LOL

Yea there's a paternal part that women apparently don't have so definitely make your brother do it, you'll get more information that way.

Well, by your math, I'd need 20. I made 3x5=15 boxes. We weren't far off. I had no leftovers. Lots of homeless in Boston, and everywhere.:(

Yes! Someone explained it to me. I don't really remember the logistics, but it will get you farther back with ancestry and names if it's male DNA. Female DNA won't get you as many names or something like that because of women changing their names.

I've been looking for an answer for about a week but am coming up empty. Does anyone know what it means when hitDB throws this error message:

QuotaExceededError: Failed to execute 'setItem' on 'Storage': Setting the value of 'hitdb_projectedEarnings' exceeded the quota.

I'm about ready to just get rid of it >.<
