I've been looking for an answer for about a week but am coming up empty. Does anyone know what it means when hitDB throws this error message:

QuotaExceededError: Failed to execute 'setItem' on 'Storage': Setting the value of 'hitdb_projectedEarnings' exceeded the quota.

I'm about ready to just get rid of it >.<

What is it doing when it gives you the error? Update? Startup?
Does it happen every time?

Every time I try and update... it still has all of my old information, but will not update with anything new.

i recently got my 23andme results back! i was so excited.. and it was sort of a let down. i thought there would be a lot more info.

Yea I wanted more info too. I knew kind of what to expect bc my fiance got his years ago and convinced me to do it. Apparently it gives you more info over time. My DNA is pretty boring, Im pretty much 100% Northern European lol

LMAO! Oh no! I am huge into our family ancestry and know I'm at least 25% Italian. I would say the there's another 25% in there, but my Great Grandfather was adopted in Italy, so I guess you can't really be sure. I've wanted to do 23andMe, but I actually want my brother to do it. It's apparently much more useful when a male does it.


I feel a bit gluttonous because we definitely make 4 boxes to feed 10 people when the whole family is here (granted, we like our leftovers, but it's only like a day's worth of leftovers in this house).

Have you tried making a backup of your data, removing and reinstalling HIT DB and importing data back in?

23andme just recently did a study on depression, and if you qualled, you got to get tested for free. keep an eye out for future ones cuz free is nice
