Why, I do this all the time....though, I usually wait at least until 9 or 10..AM! Then I lie down to read..with my eyes closed. I'm super proficient at reading with my eyes shut..but, it's still reading if I hold the book...isn't it?

I typically do as well. My only complaint about this one is that it doesn't have much protection for the curved edges of the screen. I'd love for Samsung to go back to the flat display.. but I suppose I don't have the buying power to help influence that decision
