2021 will be the first year that I'll make anything significant on Mturk, so I'm not a good resource for this one. There are some tenured turkers on here who may be able to comment, but I also recommend reaching out to some kind of tax professional to be on the safe side

We are starting up a new project where we are trying to train/improve automated follower agents to follow instructions.

I emailed (or will very soon email) the workers who are qualified to take our qual.

Not right now, but we may open up the quals soon (next few weeks ish?). Right now we are doing pilot studies of our setup so wanted to keep the pool small for now.

This thread is a bit older and I have not read through it, but there seems to be a lot there to at least get one started. Mine is reported as self-employment income on Schedule C which I believe is the correct treatment. The IRS website has a ton of information if you are inclined to go that route.
