Hm, got an email from Comcast, they've increased my internet speed from 100mb to 150mb. I don't trust them, lol.

i read about this on reddit. check your bill, they have been doing this lately without customer consent. then they will add on an additional "discount" onto your bill to compensate for the increase, but that only lasts for a period of time and then you'll be stuck paying the higher rate when the discount expires.

They bumped mine from 200 to 250 almost 2 years ago now. I think it is all about where you live. Most people with Comcast have a 1TB data cap, but I don't have a cap at all.

They do occasionally upgrade the speeds at the same price as their old tier of service becomes unavailable, but this is still good advice. It's Comcast, they're shifty as hell.
