i read about this on reddit. check your bill, they have been doing this lately without customer consent. then they will add on an additional "discount" onto your bill to compensate for the increase, but that only lasts for a period of time and then you'll be stuck paying the higher rate when the discount expires.

Checked my internet speed:
~35 Mbps DL
~5 Mbps UL
LOL! Guess this was for people who were at 100Mbps tier, idk.
