it probably depends on how you want to work.
some people like to hit the penny hits, like jimmy dragon, ben peterson, etc...
some people are batch people. I guess I'm mostly a survey person.
What I do is I have several tabs set up. in the first tab I have pandacrazy.
the second I have hitfinder, and I leave that running every 4 seconds for latest posted above 9¢, with a TO above 2.74
when I see something that I'd like to grab, I click the panda and if it doesn't catch right away, I send it to pandacrazy
Log in or register now. to view Spoiler content!

I use the friendly name field to put in the date, amount, and title of hits that I put on panda, so that I know when to delete things.
I usually only keep the previous day's links on there.
you can see, also, the darker boxes are set for searching by the requester ID instead of the HIT's groupID
That is helpful, thank you! I didn't understand the friendly names until now, that definitely helps with organizing. And honestly I prefer surveys over penny hits but I've been a turker for almost 2 years and still have under 2k hits so I should probably do more to get my numbers up. Plus some I do like, they're quick and easy, it's the transcription ones or receipt ones that pay way too little for the work that I hate doing. But yeah, seeing an example of a workflow really helped, thank you for sharing yours!

Can I ask if there's a reason you use hit finder instead of hit scraper? I've toyed around with hit finder but usually go back to hit scraper because I'm more familiar with it.

theres no such thing as the "friend zone" lol
Um, I guess friend zone is a very simplistic way to put it. It is much easier to say "friend zone" than to say you are in a friendship were you want something more (romantic/sexual relationship), while the other party likes the status quo. I understand these states are fluid and not static; however, from my experience, it is best to put your energy into potential relationships were both parties want the same thing.

My 4th rejection ever this week, makes me sad. At least I have an 18k hit buffer.

That’s something I’m curious about, too. Hopefully, someone will chime in.
HitFinder keeps a log of every HIT it's seen. So if you have to step away for ten minutes and you miss seeing when a good survey or batch popped up, it's 'saved' for you so you can grab the PandA or go work on the batch or whatever. Invaluable for those of us that are interrupted throughout the workday.
