That is helpful, thank you! I didn't understand the friendly names until now, that definitely helps with organizing. And honestly I prefer surveys over penny hits but I've been a turker for almost 2 years and still have under 2k hits so I should probably do more to get my numbers up. Plus some I do like, they're quick and easy, it's the transcription ones or receipt ones that pay way too little for the work that I hate doing. But yeah, seeing an example of a workflow really helped, thank you for sharing yours!
Can I ask if there's a reason you use hit finder instead of hit scraper? I've toyed around with hit finder but usually go back to hit scraper because I'm more familiar with it.
I keep hitfinder running all day.
it's relatively new, but the reason I like it is for the logging feature.
you can leave it running for a while, and you'll be able to see everything that's been listed.
I honestly barely use the active portion of the hitfinder, the top part.
I go through the logged hits, see which ones I want to set pandas for
..I do not feel rushed
I do, however, still use hitscraper.
I use hitscraper when searching for keywords, instead of using mturk directly
the reason I don't use mturk directly is because I like being able to control how many options I see
and the 'hide infeasible' and 'correct for skips' options
I also use hitscraper when I run a search for highest reward, so that I can leave hitfinder searching for latest posted
but I don't leave hitscraper running - between hitfinder running on worker.mturk and pandacrazy...
I don't want to receive a lot of PREs, nor do I want to have a lot of scripts enabled
