If you check on the show details before you grab hit it will tell you if you qualify.I'm talking about an actual qualification that I don't have. Not a description. If it were a description, it wouldn't be strange at all. I definitely wouldn't be unnerved by accepting a HIT that I screen out of, since that's happened roughly 100k times. What I'm talking about shouldn't actually be possible.
But, thanks for attempting to answer my questions.
no form, but there is a post all about taxes! So last year was my first year doing Mturk...not quite sure how the taxes work...I'm assuming they send a form or something? Just wondering if I have to go back through last year and try to figure it out on my own or if they send a form. Thanks!
no form unless you earn over like 20k or something stupid. you'll need to do a schedule cSo last year was my first year doing Mturk...not quite sure how the taxes work...I'm assuming they send a form or something? Unless they audit you which is very unlikely, They usually only audit rich people trying to avoid taxes. Us turkers wont be setting off any red flags at the IRS.no form unless you earn over like 20k or something stupid. you'll need to do a schedule c
As @Cara and @themildone said previously, no form for most workers. This may be the thread they were referring to. I haven't started my taxes yet this year, but I've been studying this and the internet at large to prepare myself. So last year was my first year doing Mturk...not quite sure how the taxes work...I'm assuming they send a form or something? Just wondering if I have to go back through last year and try to figure it out on my own or if they send a form. Thanks!
Yup. I know but, thanks. Regardless, I wasn't aware of the ability to accept a HIT for which you are missing a qualification. If you check on the show details before you grab hit it will tell you if you qualify.
It doesn't bother me but I think the mods will probably frown on you telling people not to report incomeUnless they audit you which is very unlikely, They usually only audit rich people trying to avoid taxes. Us turkers wont be setting off any red flags at the IRS.
