Hope you get it going again soon. I'm using a 10 year old core 2 duo machine. It came with Vista and that was slow right out of the gate. Now I am running UbuntuMate on it and have very few complaints. No support for inquisit and one prolific study wouldn't work but the rest works good.

I have a laptop with Ubuntu on it but I never use it. How are you running scripts with it?

I grew up and was raised in Louisiana until I was a late teenager. The only thing better than pistolettes is Natchitoches meat pies. Even then, it's a toss up.
