My best male friend and neighbor majored in theater. Then he moved to DC, took an internship, and now works in government and kills it financially. Some people just seem to have luck following them everywhere they go.

I don't think its luck. I think its knowing the right people. Look at mturk. If we didn't talk to each other on the forum, think of all the shit we wouldn't know about. scripts, good requesters, etc. I think its just like that in real life. Knowing the right people can help you find out life's short cuts
