I honestly can't even tell you what he does. He was heavily involved in politics, but now he's doing something with the national parks too. I'd ask, but the answer would be over my head. I'll just pretend he's the same kid who used to hide under the house with me (we called it our fort so no one would find us) and talk me through it when my mom had lost her mind.
It's a great field, been in it for 21yrs
I've done my time in the hospitals and now work at home (work & turk 
). There are so many different avenues one can take ... and when you get bored of one (if you ever do), you just switch to the next (I started in geriatrics, switched to Peds, spent a LONG time in psych and now am in insurance).
