Forgot I made an extra email to do turk email stuff (like studies that want to email you and remind you) and found like 5 days of daily surveys I never did. Oops.

Morning everyone!
I am sorry to see all the problems this horrid winter is causing everyone :(
I am electing not to go to work today because it should start snowing about 3-4 hours before I would get off of work later. Nothing I hate more than an hour drive in the middle of nowhere with snow and stupidity on the roads.
My boss just became my boss at the first of the year. So far: I will have taken 3 days off, tomorrow I will be late for the first time in a decade for a per-surgery appointment, and late next week I am going on sick leave for a few weeks. That man must think I'm the world's worst employee :D
Worst emp.? No, that would be Kim Jong-il.

Sometimes I do that, more often than not I have a notepad open and paste it there and wait, just in case it says something like subtract or add that number by 2 then submit after.
I've never run into a completion code that I was asked to do math things to. Good to know.

1. Does anyone else look at the reject number as the first thing when they open up Dashboard?
2. I have yet to start turking, but found $3 for today in Dashboard. That gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling!
1. yes every single morning lol

Gator @Gator I don't know if anyone answered you, but yes, Content Research has quals. They come up periodically. The .20 ones that I have been doing for years consist of reading WikiHow articles and rating them, and have their own qual for which you do a certain number of hits. The .05 question edits consist of reading a question someone has posed about one of the WikiHow articles and have a different qual and I think from what I have seen that once you have that one, you're qualified for the random others that come up, like the .02 "should this be written by an expert" hits.
That reminds me. I got the qual; I should prob. add them to OW or PC or sump'n. Thanks!

Normally I keep some turk money in Amazon to purchase things with, but I cleared it out this week. Today I needed $45 worth of stuff and it made me sad to actually have to use the credit card for it. Even though I'll just send that money directly to it, just doesn't feel the same as getting "free" stuff from turking.

You should! There was a huge batch of the .02 ones last night and they are very quick and easy! I couldn't remember exactly who had posted about getting the qual, or I would have tagged you when I posted it here!

I usually do that but lately I've been worried someone might put more survey after the completion code and then I'd be stuck doing extra... just paranoid :cautious:
It's not a bad way to be. I could probably stand to be a little more cautious about it. The reason I asked is that I just caught a second rejection from a requester over submitting a HIT that I had screened out of. I'd be okay with that if I'd done something shady and tried to get to get over on them but I didn't think anything of it on either occasion. I saw the code, copied it to the box, and submitted the HIT because why wouldn't I? If they didn't intend to pay me something why would they give me a code and tell me to submit it for payment?

I realized after the fact that it was something goofed up in the HIT, a bad redirect or something, when I was appealing the rejection the first time it happened. I caught on sooner this time but about 3 seconds later than I needed to in order to not submit the HIT.

Anyone doing this SurveyComet 5 person task?
Mine said waiting for other players for a while and then went to a blank screen. Not sure how to proceed now...
