The nurse said they wouldn't over sedate me so it was like a weird trippy light show and I didn't care about anything because of whatever meds they put in... So just chilling waiting to go home now.

that's good Just make sure you don't let your pain meds wear off before taking more and you'll be fine

I know I'm the odd one when it comes to having stuff done to my teeth. You'd think they would have some solution for those more prone to anxiety when seeing a dentist other than knocking people out. Haha.

lots of people ask. they dont care, but yeah. doctor anxiety. i get it.

you could even ask your GP for some and the dentist wont even know.

Don't worry about it. It's one of the most common fears. I make them give me a script for 3 xanax. 2 so that I can sleep for the 2 days leading up to the appointment, and one for breakfast that day, so I don't have a stroke.

Mine prescribed me a cpl before my procedure. Though i didnt ask he just knew i was freaking out

Hi,
I go to the dentist twice a year and my dentist prescribes me one valium each time. You take the valium one hour before your cleaning. Works great and you don't have to get knocked out.
