The house I lived in growing up had one of those cheap sheet metal sheds about two feet from the back door. A tornado came through, picked it up, and dropped it about 20 feet away. Left the house mostly undamaged.

I'm terrified of tornadoes :(
I am too. I hope you are in a safe area. Stay safe.

Thank you. Yes they get pretty intense. We go to a safe place before things get too bad. Unfortunately a safe place isn't really anywhere except underground or in a storm shelter if a big one comes through.
That is true. We had one go right past our house when I was very small. We were all in the basement and I will never forget the sound. Like a train about to run you over. Stay safe!

I ran from one as a child. Was outside playing and one was coming literally down the street. My mom grabbed us all and ran to the basement. I thought it was one of the neatest things I had ever seen, that is until we came up from the basement.

I remember being a kid and going outside to watch the skies. I had great parents as you can tell.

 Very close to a recurring nightmare of mine... except there are multiple tornadoes.

good lord, that's terrifying. I was hiding in the bathtub so I never saw it. Saw the sky turn green and the wind/birds stop, though. That was all I needed to see.

I wasn't afraid at all, I was mesmerized.

Heck we always were outside watching the sky when we were kids, I still do it every single time.
