I grew up in the midwest, saw 2 tornados as a child. I've been in the South for ten years now, and in my opinion there is no tornado that is more frightening than a hurricane. Oddly though, people here just blow that shit off. Kinda like "Oh there's a hurricane on the way, Lets fortify the doors at work." Then they go to work and put sand bags up. Most of the time it never really comes to fruition though, so I get it. Fear is so relative. We have guys who get out their canoes and paddle down the flooded streets when the weather is bad.
This video was filmed two streets over from my house. I guess floods and hurricanes in this neck of the woods are the same as snow days in other places.
