assuming you still have the same certification, etc at the end of the day?

Go to a real university and go to the best one you can get into. It's better to go to a good school. It might cost more, but it's worth it in my experience.

You'll learn a lot about yourself and others.

@PeachyRider To add on, for-profit schools are basically predatory and looking to take advantage of people in exactly your situation, who are uncertain about what they should be doing and potentially vulnerable to being convinced to take out 10s of thousands in student loans which will gain them basically nothing in the end. ITT went out of business the moment the government said they could no longer take advantage of veterans using their GI bills. They're all scummy as hell

Or, alternatively, look into trade schools. Manual trades like electricians, welders, plumbers and such are rapidly aging with no one to replace them because everyone is directed toward higher education. Plus most have unions so get big bucks
