It's helpful when I'm having a decent day. Keeps me reaching for a little longer instead of patting myself on the back.
See that's the sort of stuff I like, I can tend to get demotivated if I don't have some sort of a goal in mind.
I've disconnected on a couple over the course of things, getting distracted by different things. Though those were my fault. Just went goofy on you?
The only times I get the air let out of my tires is when I catch a bad beat on something that I was playing pretty tight. Or, when I'm just really bad at something and not getting better. It's a different kind of demotivated for each one.
How are the tracings going now that they went closed qual?
They got a little rough towards the end. Most of the last two batches that got posted were garbage. The markers weren't any where near the objects and the objects were towards the back of the frame and hard to distinguish. Now it's moved on to verifying the boundaries that have been traced. Quality control I guess.
I hope it is a canned response. You think nothing happens to most people that get them?

I was never too quick at them, always took me too much time in making all the lines. That was what irked me with the soft bans seeing as I took my time making them accurate.

Whatever automatic QC system they use was jacked up for the first week or so. I caught the soft ban on my sixth HIT after doing the training one. It seemed unfair but I couldn't argue the point. Then a week later I got an email explaining that it was a mistake, I was awesome, and that I should come and trace lines around things some more. Two days later I started working on some at the beginning of the day and the soft ban message was right in my face. I emailed that time because I was 200% sure I hadn't f'ed anything up and they told me it was a mistake and that it was being fixed. It was happening to everybody that day. Since then I just get the occasional warning that I'm drawing course boundaries. I'm not sure if I really am or if it's a keep you on your toes kind of message.
I had done some of the early ones and they seemed to hand out the soft bans like candy, so I stopped doing them for a good while hoping they might get fixed. Then poof qual'd.
