So, completely random - how's everyone feeling about the new Halloween moving coming out this year?

Not a continuation of the last few or of the Rob Zombie ones. It's a direct continuation from the original movie. Even skips Halloween II. Forty years later, and Jamie Lee Curtis is Laurie Strode again, and the main character. Also, Michael Myers is apparently no longer her brother.

Written by David Gordon Green and Danny McBride, and directed by David Gordon Green. Green also directed a bunch of episodes of Eastbound & Down and Vice Principals, which McBride created.

It's NOT a comedy. It's a legit sequel to the original.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm excited for it.
