Once at a family birthday party we were watching a home video and in it, one of my cousins said "wahlah" instead of voila. Another cousin went bonkers and started yelling at everyone. "It's voila! Voila! It's French. If you don't know a word, don't use it. Why not just say Wawa, at least that's a real thing. You'll only look half stupid."

It was amazing.
