it was a couple hours ago? then i went to sleep and woke up to an email.

this is going to sound sensitive and very womanly, but I learned a lot about makeup from my ex since she was obsessed with it.
she also worked at Lush. and I got to try a lot of the products

Stop stereotyping and equating "sensitive" with "womanly". Boxes are no fun for anyone to be placed in.

Men would enjoy playing around with beauty products as much as a lot of women do if society weren't so stupid about it. What's "womanly" about grooming and taking care of yourself? Absolutely nothing.

i msg'd him last week and got a qual. kind of afraid to do it twice. i will admit i'm not a makeup expert. more of a novice

While I agree that "womanly" and "sensitive" are stereotypical words that don't really help; I can tell you from my experience of patiently listening to my ex discuss Claire's new line that I'm just not going to view makeup as fun. That doesn't mean it should stop anyone that does see it as fun.
