I believe when you upgrade to 10 that it writes over any old recovery partition/restore points and makes a new one that is for Windows 10, meaning there is no "roll back". I know originally there was a window where you could, but I don't know if that's true with the newest versions.

It's not completely downloaded yet. I still have my seven and No, the old laptop restored to 7 easily.

Received this rejection, and remembered the survey yesterday. Was very bubbly survey, but I answered it all correctly and paid attention. I emailed requester asking for a little further explanation and to maybe reconsider. She emailed back:

Thanks for your response. Our research group has rigorous standards for combing through our received data and accepting or rejecting. If there was a glitch in our software, we understand that is an unfortunate outcome. We are apologetic to let you know that this survey is now closed and we have no plans, at this time, to repost anything or perform more research through MTurk.

So she basically just said could be a glitch and

I been looking into aquaponics for some time now, just haven't committed myself to the process yet, biggest worry is the time away from home. I don't trust my freaking kids to monitor it

I try to donate a small percentage of what I'm given (and then smile at the irony when another survey asks how many times a year I make a charitable donation...............)

At this point I have "Is 'Get Windows 10' icon app running/enabled?" and "Are Windows to upgrades allowed?" and "Non-critical Windows 10 settings enabled?" set to No. Still haven't deleted the Windows 10 folders or anything since I might upgrade. Haven't had any problems since I started using the program yesterday.

That makes no difference. Windows 10 takes over at a certain point with a mind of its own and you can't stop it. I tried disabling the auto updates and all and like the energetic bunny it get going. on the hour every hour Windows 10 will down load in59.53 minutes.

Mixed. The grow space itself is contained in a smaller DIY greenhouse and the fish tank is next to the greenhouse under a small pavilion type deal.... Oh... and the duckweed tank is sort of off by itself.

My experience has been that its a very needy baby for a long time... mine took more than 8 months to mature enough to stop being so fragile and reactive. Once your little ecosystem finds it's balance and things settle down you have a good deal more leeway and it becomes somewhat robust.... I should add that I also set up a Raspberry Pi as a microcontroller for the environment after it stabilized, which takes a LOT of the work off me (plus I can check various stats right on my phone from anywhere I am.)

Edit: That first time you decide you want fish for dinner tho... and you can simply walk in the other room, pluck a big ol' lovely meal fish and get started with the fileting in a matter of moments then garnish it with stuff grown in the same ecosystem.... totally worth.

When left on its own, yes, but GWX is a third-party program that overrides the ability of Windows Update to do that. I understand the issue, I was having the exact same problem last night and Windows hasn't attempted an unprompted reboot or update since.
