I don't know that I'd believe anything a hedge fund director says. The people not covered by FDIC are the big investors and corporations who put money in an insecure bank. Apparently the more cautious investors got out already....And how does crypo money? factor into this. The whole thing smells of some kinda fraud. I'd bet that there's more than a little reason to close that bank. Now they need to shut down Wells Fargo. They have habitual problems when trying to steal their customers money. They get caught 'cause they're such incompetent thieves.

I know i'm having a problem getting my mobile phone bill paid. they, being dish network, had a "glitch" they say in mid february, but it's been longer than that since I could get into my account. paid the bill once in store and refused to pay their $4 charge for doing that. said it's not my fault i can't pay bill online. now the store is closed. computers are down. and i'm thinking why can't the company set up an analog system somehow where someone hand collects payments at a location. my phone still works, so, text me that i paid the bill, take the money to the bank and deposit after manually crediting payer's account and keeping a spread sheet somewhere somehow. it's got to be better than having all these people screaming at you.

Wells Fargo takes VERY good care of it's wealthy depositors and preys on the lower middle and lowest depositors.
