I'll post it here in case anyone ever googles the phrase, maybe it'll help.
It's a mixed bag, I love how small it is, I HATE how low performance it is. If I run Panda and a few scripts it slows to a crawl. If a big batch comes up I go to Incognito just so it runs quick with no extensions running except for greasemonkey. The battery life is insane, but any task that requires downloading any special program (like Inquisit) can't really be done on the Chromebook.
Overall it's not bad though, I use it only for Turking so it's pretty quick for the most part, not bogged down by random crap.
I use the Samsung Chromebook 3, I got it on Black Friday for 129 bucks at Walmart, it's usually 179ish
Based on how slow it can be on Pandas, and just sometimes running slow on multiple scripts, I figure I miss out on more HITs than I would like to honestly.
For the price....I dunno, might be worth it. You can run Linux on these Chromebooks, which does make it faster, but I just use the general ChromeOS

If all you want to do is surveys... you can do that with a crappy cell phone. If you want to do batch work... get a mobile device capable of doing work. Chrome books and netbooks have a half baked half functional OS, and horrendously low performance standards on bottom of the bucket hardware. You get what you pay for... and will affect your earnings.
Library, drinking Taco bell, I keep it classy bro. Also, this is one of the cheapest Chromebooks, if you go up in quality it might be much better. I kinda wish I bought a nicer one, it would be much quicker I'm sure. The price was really good though, so I didn't wanna pass it up
Dell Latitude Laptop. 119.99. Shows up Tuesday. It's older but not even as old (or cheap) as I wanted. If it were up to me I'd buy something with WInxp installed but apparently Chrome doesn't support XP so I had to go a little newer.

Honestly if you get a cheap laptop and throw Lubuntu or Xubuntu on it, it'll run pretty quick. I've used Linux for years as I just don't game, and don't really care on missing out on small things. The performance difference is insane, and the learning curve for either of them is negligible.
