I don't have one, I don't think I've used one for ages. Even our rescue disc is on USB.

Yea I mean it's not normally a big deal other than my printer/scanner is installed with a disc.

Also..I'm about to be using Windows 10, I had been holding off on this cause the times I've used it I hated it. Like my laptop is still on 7 when I had a free upgrade to 10 and I just refused to do it..

I could try that, once it's installed it's a breeze cause it's wireless, it's just getting it installed lol.

On my mine i USB connector too also if it doesn't find it right away try running windows update cause that sometimes will get the drivers for you. Also you can use the computer your on now and go to the manufacturers website and download to a usb drive. I haven't used a Cd-rom/DVD drive in over 10 years

Yea, the PC itself came with a disc to update drivers and it's like uh yea thanks guys.

You should be able to find the driver online, if needed. A lot of times, you don't though.

I may just buy a 12 dollar usb disc drive on amazon just to have it just in case.

Uh huh, way out of date already. Seriously I've not used a disc for ages like @egryan1. My latest printer needed new drivers but I downloaded straight from Epson and Bob's yer uncle it works a treat.

That's what we have. It's definitely come in handy. We have most of our stuff (Backups etc) on USB's, but still use the cd drive every so often, sometimes just for movies and stuff.

I'm meticulous about sorting my mail and not letting it pile up but I hoard receipts and old shopping lists in the cubby of my Equinox. I let it fill up for a good year between cleanings.
