It's even more ridiculous that this "theory" is starting to be a thing again now, when we have satellites and have put actual humans in space.

What a crazy flat world we live in.

i don't get it, but it does seem to be picking up a lot of traction. I read a story about a few big athletes who believe it, I dunno, I blame it on Youtube. People watch videos with a voiceover, some synthy electronic music, and then become an expert on everything. Some of the dumbest conspiracy theories are on there with millions of views.

I can disprove flat earthers and I use this argument whenever I run into one.

If the world was flat, the sun would hit all parts of the worldly plain equally at the same time. We know this isnt the case because while its morning in the US, its night time in Japan because Japan is currently facing away from the sun and the US is pointed towards the sun. This proves that the Earth is a sphere that rotates on an axis.

Umm, aliens put a giant mirror in the sky to reflect the sun away from the earth in certain areas, to provide this illusion.
