I ended up reinstalling chrome yesterday and it worked (though I was still locked out til they were all gone).
When I was a teenager, my window was right near my neighbors front porch windchime. I got pissed off that I couldn't sleep, walked over, took it down, and sat it at their doorstep. They waited a couple days to hang it back up. I wouldn't recommend this approach if you want your neighbor to like you.
I personally didnt get any rejections, but i'd still be careful with that requester
