I'm super non-confrontational but I want to call them out on it so bad. Covid lives on plastic up to 3 days, so even if no one else is at the park, they could be exposed. I just don't understand what people don't understand about that.

I would assume they're aware of this and just don't care, but maybe not. Either way it's called social distancing for a reason. We were waiting on an appointment for kiddo to see if she has asthma, but it got canceled amid all this. So I'm being ridiculously cautious. I even quarantine the freaking mail.

Yeah, I needed to take kiddo to the doctor because he's been picking at his scalp but it was cancelled. I don't want to chance exposing him, so it can wait. I'm not panicking about it but I'm also taking precautions.

Theoretically, if every single person all just did nothing and stayed for a couple weeks and stayed in place, the last case of COVID-19 would die out with no new hosts, and be unable to be transmitted any further.

I don't think people realize this is the goal, and the sooner we get it over with, the sooner we can go back to normal life

People like this are the reason this whole thing will continue to drag out. The park playground goers, the people that still go to the mall (why the hell is it even open?), and the spring breakers who just don't give a crap.
We can help humanity by staying home and basically doing nothing. Let's not screw this up, folks.

Just a quick chime in since my mother is 79 and I am mid 50's. I think a lot of at risk people feel that they were told to stay home for their health, but nothing was offered to assist them to get the basics. I know a woman who lives month to month. She got her food stamps on the 21st. She is high risk. Nobody offered to get her grocery's, she needs toilet paper and no agency is assisting her in getting that. She can't order on line because 1/2 the stuff she orders is out of stock. We would help but she is in a different state. Many of the at risk have already felt forgotten before this. Just my thoughts.
