Who needs vegetables, me and Princess Gina Marie @GinaMarie are just gonna eat candy and frosting :baby:
My mom told me I'd get ass cancer when I was a kid if I didn't eat green things. I mean, she phrased it a bit nicer, i think.

Well, maybe I'll get Master's next go around. Seems like I'll be taking a break from turking or massively scaling back. Our friend of the family died last night and my aunt is not doing so well and has asked me to be the executor of her estate (as my cousin, her eldest child, died last July at the young age of 46). Seems like I'll be a little busy taking care of those things for a while.

In a weird twist, I might get the chance to invest in the company my cousin worked for...so now I gotta see if that is a viable option. It's a well known company that is not public yet, but will be not long from now. I may have to hire a financial planner now....ugh. Being a grow'd up is hard!
ugh, I'm sorry to hear that :(

I do the same thing with fresh picked green beans in the summer too. So good.

+1 to this (minus the rosemary for brussel sprouts). Once those things get soggy or mushy its game over. They need to be crispy and slightly charred.

Yeah, I can't eat mushy veggies at all (except potatoes, of course.) I usually have to eat them raw or they gag me but oven roasting crisps them up nice.

my cross-country move a few weeks ago broke me completely and i have $0 to spare. but i wanted to offer my condolences. i remember how much of a wreck i was when my mother passed. i hope you get the help you need during this time. i wish i could help you with what you need, but i am thinking of you, praying for y'all, and sending the best vibes. bless your soul. <3
Thank you. This really does mean a lot.
