i made them like that, she didnt like them. i made them roasted/grilled with balsamic and butter, didnt like that. she only likes them when i use a little butter, a bunch of black pepper, a little dash of salt and then boil them

Sorry to hear about your family loss, tricker. I did the executor thing when my Dad passed. You'll learn a lot. Again, sorry.

The best for me is my aunt is including me in all the setup of her trust, so none of it will be a surprise to me when she goes. Her estate is now complicated since she was the beneficiary of all of my cousin's stuff when he died.

I'm not her beneficiary on anything, her grandson is, but he's still too young to handle this type of stuff so she asked me if I would be willing. I was kind of flattered

the girl LOVES the things, so anytime veggies are on sale i grab like 10 bags of them plain and butter them up for her. she ate almost 3/4 of what i made for them right away lol

I don't like them generally but have you tried oven roasting them? with some olive oil drizzled over and some parm and rosemarry?
