Yeah, that's the danger in blocking stuff. You can't block phrases/titles that are too generic or else you'll probably kill off something decent that might show up.TIL something that everybody probably already knew.

Thought I would share, just in case
I kind of agree with this. If someone asks me to address them in a particular way I'm more than willing to comply, but don't get offended simply because I haven't learned what you prefer to be called yet. And quite frankly I'm a bit sad that we are creating a society where anyone is expected to anticipate that sort of thing. If I'm being aggressive or offensive, then sure, I deserve a reprimand. I'll take the chastisement and process it as I will, but often I don't think that's the case at all.Don't people realize that be offended is a choice tho?

that's kind of the opposite of what I meant. Unless I misunderstood @Tjololo , blocking a hit title will only block that exact phrase, as it is, by itself.Yeah, that's the danger in blocking stuff. You can't block phrases/titles that are too generic or else you'll probably kill off something decent that might show up.
You explained non-wildcard blocking exactly. "word" will only block a title that is "word", not "This survey is about a word". Enabling wildcards means you can block "*word*", which would block anything that contains "word" in it, like "This survey is about a word"that's kind of the opposite of what I meant. Unless I misunderstood @Tjololo , blocking a hit title will only block that exact phrase, as it is, by itself.
Or you know, I'm extra dumb and I will go edit my post.

I agree with this, but I also agree with the people who say they won't change how they reference people. Of course, there is consequences to all of our actions. If its a businessmux then they may lose business or if its a parent they may lose their child.I kind of agree with this. If someone asks me to address them in a particular way I'm more than willing to comply, but don't get offended simply because I haven't learned what you prefer to be called yet. YES! Not dumb. Thanks TJYou understand non-wildcard blocking exactly. "word" will only block a title that is "word", not "This survey is about a word". Enabling wildcards means you can block "*word*", which would block anything that contains "word" in it, like "This survey is about a word"
