I didnt expect to spend my friday evening doing a long math hit but it was worth it.

you might want to know this might not be appropriate for everyone. it says it will get your info and submit a basic 1040 on your behalf so good for non-filers.

i'm not sure it is appropriate for me as i need to submit direct deposit info but i don't need this portal to file a return as i have to file a 2019 return soon. i need to contact the irs to see if there might be a conflict between a portal basic tax filing and my official filing later on. i wonder if my upcoming filing would have to be like an amended return.

The portal for us that don't need to file but need to supply our DD info should be up next week.
