Her job moves her around the state, she just left Clearwater after 4 years and was renting there for around the same price. She sells hospital beds for a big company and makes good commission doing so .

Glad I spent 20 years paying off my home, rents today would make me have to go out and get a real job. I have not had a mortgage payment in 12 years, but they seem to have skyrocketed since then.

$0 rent/mortgage one benefit of moving from the UK to somewhere real estate is cheaper. And having got married relatively early & bought a house then. Mostly paid off by the time we were divorced hahaha and enough left to move here and buy something outright.
