Well he owes my mom $10k so that is equal to like 20 months behind, it is spread out over years.. my mom hasn't charged him late fees or anything. He is an abusive person and keeps putting my 2-year-old in danger, she is autistic and he thinks it's funny and tells me it's my responsibility to watch her. He is a misogynist and just flat out toxic. Him not paying rent has nothing to do with Covid, he just doesn't care. Can't really afford to evict him, but if we could I think there shouldn't be a delay on people like him.

Yes that sounds like a difficult situation and long term, I think there are other agencies or steps that can be deployed, especially with his actions. Keep everyone safe and maybe once this relaxes a bit some low cost and low effort actions can be taken to get the guy out, it can be so tough in some locations, no doubt about that.

Late on this but if you have your payments to the IRS set up to come out via automatic payments they will continue to come out. You should be able to change your payment method through their site though.

I'm one of the millions of people who wants to give the IRS the bird today for their where's my payment portal bs. I'm locked out for 24 hours. I read an article earlier that said that the error is due to people putting their mailing address in incorrectly. I find that hard to believe.
