One of our more higher functioning ladies... she is 70 but is pretty much 3-4 years old. She had an episode recently where she locked herself in her room and threw a glass thing off her dresser onto the floor and staff had to get her out safely. The behavior specialist asked her if she was sorry... She said "the boy did it." But see, there was another time (same staff was working with her) that she had an accident and needed to be changed, and she started to yell (normal) and hit herself and slide down the wall (not normal) and the next day she told my supervisor "he" did it... we assumed she meant our only male day staff who literally did not even come near her when she was having her meltdown. Weird.
