Hello kids! How are things? Yoda says hello as well and wanted me to tell you it is National Adopt A Shelter Pet Day. He lived in a shelter for a year before I rescued him.

Now when is National Adopt A Turker Day? I'm looking for a nice family on a coast somewhere. With a nice fridge full of food. Plz apply.

My prior kitty was a shelter cat, my doggie was a shelter doggie, and my current kitty is adopted from my garage. I "rescued" her before she landed in a shelter. She probably wouldn't have been adoptable, though, because while she is incredibly tame and *really* friendly (unless you're my dog, then she's just a huge dick), she is terrified of unfamiliar people. If we have visitors I sometimes won't see her for days.

Yeah I don't understand it either. Just very hard for male cats to get adopted in general. Black cats as well because people are superstitious that they are bad luck. I've had 3 black cats who were all amazing and I think very good luck. I was there to look at some kittens and he was just too cute to pass up! He was super shy and used to hide from people when I brought him home. Now he is up in everyone's business all the time. He will be 7 on Star Wars Day, May 4th.
