Each favorite will slow down the favorite checker by a few microseconds. I'll add this to my to test list since now I'm interested in the exact numbers but I'll say try not to go more than 10,000 for now.

It's easy for me to get in the mood to write a few sentences if it's a "explain your decision" type writing in a HIT compared to a "think back to a time (...situation here....) and describe ....." type writing that I hate so much.

I have several "times" on a post-it that I look at when I get those look back at a time questions. I already have my thoughts on them, so it jogs my memory and makes the writing a little easier.

There may be some of us out there who were foolish enough in their earlier Turking days to do 30,000+ 411Richmonds alone.

I never did that many, but I did do a lot of those. I didn't think of it as foolish, though, because it kept me moving forward on turking when I might otherwise have just given up on it. I still use the penny ones where you just put in the date, or total, or store for rounding my cents on my PE because I'm OCD about it lol

10,000 requester searches, you might as well put everything on mturk in there. I could just go do stuff and come back when it dings on something, keep me from being tied to the computer all day. As it is it catches about 25 percent of my hits every day, 90% today.
