I just got a robotic voicemail "from the IRS" saying I was being sued for tax fraud and tax evasion. I'm sure that's exactly how that situation would play out. Totally legit.

Hello, MTurkers! I am a graduate student who is collecting data for my dissertation. I would really appreciate you help so I can graduate this summer! As a graduate student, I don't have a lot of money (we have to pay for data collection out of our own pocket), so I'm hoping there are enough of you out there who are kind-hearted and will take my survey to help me get my degree. I think you have an idea you are being scammed but unless you've received mail that you have to sign for from the government, tis is probably fraud. Do you have an ID checker or go online and check the number and see what others say about it. There's probably a way to report it if it is scam.
