What's the story with Pick Fu? I was so desperate to find something to do that I did one of his hits a minute ago. It wasn't bad but I seem to recall there has been discussion about PickFu before but I don't remember what it was. Was there something to watch out for? His TV profile seems clean.

I'm not sure if I missed something, but I've never had a problem with PickFu.

maybe it was someone else, then, and I misremembered the requester name. I like PickFu - quick and I get to do the kind of writing I like which is explaining my answer.

Anytime I eat a Twizzler, I feel the need to double-check to make sure I'm not accidentally eating its plastic wrapper too.

Pickfu is a great requester. I do hits for them all the time.

They are so gross.

I'm tired of the "you've done the maximum amount of HITs" BS when I *know* I've not ever done the HIT.

Different requesters are sometimes part of a larger team of researchers who post on MTurk, and they'll count your participation in another "teammate" requester's HIT when posting their own because they are thematically related.

It would be nice if there was more disclosure about this sort of practice, but that lack of clarity is just one of those things about MTurk that make it the suckfest that it is.
