does it make more sense to people for me to post the ~235 assignments one first, or the ~485 one? makes no difference to me

That is how I feel. The struggle is real. On the plus side, water heater part arrived today and was totally covered under warranty. 12 days without hot water has been hell. I imagine I smell like 1812 over here. hopefully I installed it correctly, I assume so since there is hot water starting to show. You probably understand this in your wisdom!

It's amazing how much we take something like hot water for granted until we don't have it.

And HW heater parts take so effing long to arrive and you can't buy them from hardware stores. I have to explain to tenants all the time that, no, I can't get it any faster, no I am not installing a new water heater because the factory is taking a while to ship the part and no they don't get "free rent" for the days they were without hot water. Maybe a small credit, but you still had use of the entire house!!!
