I don't think they've handed that out since 1945.

Many years ago, I thought something in the room was making this high-pitched electric frequency type noise. I went around the room and turned off anything that was electric. Only then did I realize that the buzz was in my head. It's louder at times than others and at given point of the day, I most likely have something on (music, tv, etc) to distract my brain - which will focus on what's playing rather than the buzz.

Sadly, there is no cure, treatment or anything for tinnitus. And like @Devil_Dawg said ... it can be maddening at times.

Ear piercing "screaming" noise for me. I drive CJ nuts with my fan running all the time to drown it out, but it's straight up painful without background noise :/
