No, Missouri...in this state your job is not required to give you a break no matter how long you work. On top of that there is no limit to working so they could work you 22 hours a day with no break and if you said I can't do this they can fire you for refusing to work.
ouch! FL is a right to fire state - (so they can fire you without cause). I'm not sure about work limits, here
but Missouri sounds tough!

Question, does anyone have any advice on the internet thing?

Should I just pay the extra 30 bucks and call it a day? I was thinking to looking at comcast but I doubt it's any cheaper and they're supposedly getting ready to impose caps also.

We are a cord cutter family, everything we do is online, from my work, to gaming, to hulu, netflix, youtube, and kodi....I'm pretty sure I will go way over the cap without even trying. Not even counting the free games that get downloaded from xbox live and ps plus every month.

Whatever you do, don't go with Comcast. They are literally the worst.

Comcast's customer service has its problems, but so does AT&T's. :\
IME, Comcast is trying to make its service less abysmal.

Comcast still wants to establish caps, but they recently set the pre-cap limit at one terabyte. :)
They will cost more that AT&T's DSL, but should be substantially faster.

When data caps roll through here I'll have no choice to pay the extra fees. Maybe if you switch to comcast you can get some 24 month deal or something so it's at least cheaper for the time being.

I had Comcast before and it sucked balls..I just feel this is At&t's way of making people take a bundle, I've been fine with just the net but of course if you have TV this doesn't apply to you.

One option you could look into is the T-mobile hotspot. You get a hotspot device that is basically a router (you can buy them through T-mo or Best Buy or second hand like on Amazon) and a sim card (cheaper at Best Buy than through T-mo). You pay for a package of however many gigs (2, 10, etc.) but what may help you is they have this "binge on" feature where stuff like Netflix, Hulu, etc. doesn't count toward your data cap.

We are cordcutters too and have Charter and pay like $40/mo for internet only. It's not as fast as Comcast but I don't notice any lagging and we do a lot of Netflix, online gaming, YouTube, etc. Google Fiber is coming though so we'll more than likely switch to that when it's available. Comcast can suck it forever.
