At some point last year, we were looking into making a qual for workers who had done a lot of work for us, whose work we trusted and wouldn't have to check too closely, to make things easier for the (ninja) requestors in other departments, but then we ended up sticking with our usual methods.

Hmm, not that high a percentage got it. You had to have done some number of HITs in the past month, and no rejections, and not done any work that we thought was kinda borderline quality either.

Hmm, not that high a percentage got it. You had to have done some number of HITs in the past month, and no rejections, and not done any work that we thought was kinda borderline quality either.

I now feel special. They should have printed some badges though.

Yeah, but a lot of it is because of people who just did one HIT for us way back in the day. We have a ton of regulars, but it's not that large a percentage of our total workers ever. The nature of MTurk...

Got an email response for this, but when I have a question on edge cases for paraphrases: (british vs. american spelling, misspellings in the query text etc.) I never get a response
