Three years here myself and nada. So don't feel bad. We just were not one of Bezos chosen ones. Just sucks that my virtual job shows me about as much appreciation as my real life job. I see where I stand.

While the gang's all here ...

My sister just moved in with us and she is having job and car issues and wants me to teach her how to turk. Does anyone know if mturk is accepting new workers yet? My mom tried to apply late last year and it was rejected saying they're not accepting new workers at this time ... has there been any update?

Was kinda wondering the same thing. I have a friend thinking about doing it.

I don't think so a lot of people are still getting rejected but you can always try..

My mother started late last year and had to fax her id/ss to them to be accepted... she was eventually accepted though and turks daily

My husband tried to sign up last fall, got rejected, and then got accepted like last week.

I'd have to look back, but I think it was in October or November. At the time mturk had e-mailed someone saying they weren't accepting any new workers right now...idk.
