fwiw the only beats worth using are the pros, but they are overpriced by about $150

I have nice Beats but I don't pay for them which is the major draw for me. I have considered getting some nicer ones but then I'd have to start taking care of my electronics.

Good quality headphones can last for years and still have good resale value, audio equipment doesn't go out of date nearly as fast as most other things.
