If you type a ton you may be ok it's still a matter of when it said an hour in my email just giving a heads up.
it really depends on the requester's TO rating and if you can afford a rejection. if you have a high approval rating and a lot of hits submitted, and the TO is a good one, you might want to try submittingI emailed the requester through Mturk and sent a personal email. I was halfway through. Did not send it yet. I don't think you're supposed to send it if you don't finish it are you? Did anyone else send the hit without finishing it?
we were actually talking a bit about it last night - https://www.mturkcrowd.com/posts/1252172/I only do the ones that are about how many x this organization will report in x month, and I use the links they provide to look at past months. I definitely write more than 1-2 sentences...do you think that's ok? That I don't post outside links?
I would say if you (in general, not yo specific) do this to make sure to send an email as to why you submitted it that way, so they know why they are getting a blank submission.it really depends on the requester's TO rating and if you can afford a rejection. if you have a high approval rating and a lot of hits submitted, and the TO is a good one, you might want to try submitting
I have a high rating but I don't want a rejection. I only finished half of it. I'm not sure if the requestor will submit a new batch or if I should just submit it and hope for the best? What has everyone else done with this hit? Returned it or sent it?it really depends on the requester's TO rating and if you can afford a rejection. if you have a high approval rating and a lot of hits submitted, and the TO is a good one, you might want to try submitting
I didn't actually get one, I'm just worried because it doesn't take me an hourwe were actually talking a bit about it last night - https://www.mturkcrowd.com/posts/1252172/
your email didn't mention anything?
for the record I don't think I've ever been a situation where I had to do this, it's just what I would probably do if I wasI would say if you (in general, not yo specific) do this to make sure to send an email as to why you submitted it that way, so they know why they are getting a blank submission.
But there is always a chance for rejection on that since the work wasn't technically done, so they don't have to pay.
Ah, see mine just said that I didn't take long enough, I can type a paragraph in literally 2 minutes. A lot of the turk requesters don't take into account that some of us can read and type very very fast.we were actually talking a bit about it last night - https://www.mturkcrowd.com/posts/1252172/

the email didn't seem to be specifically targeting anyone, it looks generic
Good Luck! Some infections can be a bitch to deal with.Well, looks like it's back to the surgeon's office for me this afternoon. Day 8 of massive antibiotics and the infection just won't stop. This is gonna hurt, blah. If I ignore it why won't it just go away????

Wow, that's pretty good. Even when I'm full on into a scene I can't write a coherent paragraph in 2 minutes and that's on something I like.Ah, see mine just said that I didn't take long enough, I can type a paragraph in literally 2 minutes. Oh I did it once, I got a big fat $90 rejection. Wait maybe that was for a short timer, and I promised to send the work once i finished. Either way. It's definitely something Iwouldn't do often, but /could/ do given the right circumstances (like if I was nearly done and something happened)I didn't actually get one, I'm just worried because it doesn't take me an hour

Me too and it keeps locking up on one section. Ugh.working on it now
*aren'tI'm up, not sure why since there isn't ANY batches to work on AGAIN
eek that sucks. Yeah, I'd definitely chance it for $90, though.Wow, that's pretty good. Even when I'm full on into a scene I can't write a coherent paragraph in 2 minutes and that's on something I like.

lots of people having that happen, I managed to get mine done before then so idkMe too and it keeps locking up on one section. Ugh.
I think everyone is pretty mixed on that and would say that you should do what you think is best and are willing ot live with if it gets rejected. Personally if I didn't do at least half of the hit I wouldn't think about submitting it. And the requester would be well within reason to not pay, since the work wasn't completed (even though it wasn't the workers fault.)I have to get ready for work. I have a quick question though. For everyone that did the seven dollar hit and could not get pass double digits because it was having trouble loading, did Turkers submit or return?
