I hope so and he frankly is an asshole to her but I can't say anything or she'll just take his side....It'd be nice if she'd wise up I just don't know how long that'll take and if I can deal with him for that long.

I am sure it was hard for my mom to sit back and not say anything. I would have taken his side had she. Because I thought I was in love. Young and stupid I was. But after I had my baby I grew up. I had to take care of someone other than myself. And my baby taught me what love really was. Not sure if that will happen for your daughter but hopefully something will make her realize that she is worth more than the way her baby daddy treats her.
