Make sure you finish all the prescreening questions.

I usually get about one or two a day to take but I'm in a different demographic than some here so I get "ineligible" a lot when I click on the surveys posted here. Just keep trying, they'll show up. I usually make about $50 per month from Prolific :thumbup:

i run a website watcher that alerts me when new surveys are posted that i qual for (the only ones that show up for you are ones that you qualify for)

I actually took the chance and did this. I thought it was done very professionally. The post that you put on your Facebook states that this is for political research. They don't do anything else, it just gives the ability for your friends to respond to their question (post). You get a $2 bonus if you interact with the discussion as well. It's a good filler IMO. Then when it's done they make your names and your friends names anonymous. You approve the transcription they want to keep. Submit the hit and delete it off your Facebook. Unless I'm missing something... I didn't notice any issues and actually enjoyed doing it as a filler (On a Sunday...).

I actually took the chance and did this. I thought it was done very professionally. The post that you put on your Facebook states that this is for political research. They don't do anything else, it just gives the ability for your friends to respond to their question (post). You get a $2 bonus if you interact with the discussion as well. It's a good filler IMO. Then when it's done they make your names and your friends names anonymous. You approve the transcription they want to keep. Submit the hit and delete it off your Facebook. Are you paying your friends? Do they? Now what data do they have on you? All of your facebook posts, all of your friends, all of your likes. They get WAY more then they pay you for.

It may be professionally done but that doesn't change my willingness to put up the status. I'd rather not do anything on mturk that involves my social media.
