rn I'm taking down curtains. I have blinds. I can use daylight to not run lights during the day. it looks like turning off computer and monitors and using ipad instead would save a lot but I'm having a hard time figuring out the math. not sure if an ipad instead of computer for a few hours a day is really worth it.

assuming you are working on mturk, the amount of electricity money you save using an ipad over a computer is negligible at best and you will lose out significantly more money trying to work on a lesser device

You might also lower the temperature on your hot water heater or check into putting a timer on it. Many utility companies will help with this. It uses a great deal of power to keep water ready for showers, laundry, dishwashing, etc.
